COVID

We all have many changes in place for school and sports. Dakota United SC is no different, we have a few things to share.

First and foremost, we ask all coaches, parents, spectators and players to follow ND State Health and CDC guidelines. Anyone that can answer yes to any of these standard questions is asked to please not participate and follow the ND State Health and CDC guidelines. Please do your part so everyone can enjoy being able to have a sport for the kids to participate in.

  • Do you have a fever or above normal temperature?
  • Have you experienced shortness of breath or had trouble breathing?
  • Do you have a dry cough?
  • Do you have a runny nose?
  • Have you recently lost or had a reduction in your sense of smell?
  • Do you have a sore throat?
  • Have you been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19?
  • Have you tested positive for COVID-19?
  • Have you been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting results?
  • Have you traveled outside of the country within the past 14 days?

If anyone is tested positive for COVID they must report it to a Dakota United SC staff or board member.

As part of our plan to combat the virus and ensure a safe training environment we will maintain the following guidelines:

  • All equipment used by coaches or players will be cleaned at the end of each session.
  • We recommend players bring their own ball, however we will have clean balls available should they be required. Shin guards are required and your responsibility.
  • Coaches will wear a mask during practices.
  • Players are encouraged to wear masks when skill training but not required.
  • Please be sure to bring your own water bottle. Sharing drinks is not recommended or encouraged.
  • Players who display symptoms at training will be asked to go home.
  • Training sessions will be staggered slightly to avoid increased foot traffic in the dome.
  • Arrival 5 minutes before and immediate departure directly after your session will help limit the number of individuals and help us participate as safely as possible in these social distancing times.
  • Hand sanitizer will be provided before your session and available for use after.
  • We ask that spectators practice social distancing where possible and PLEASE do wear a mask.
